Premium sports brand Castore has scored another major link-up, on Wednesday announcing a strategic partnership with Silverstone, “the home of British motorsport”.

It will see Castore — which counts tennis star Andy Murray among its backers — launching a new e-commerce store for Silverstone and being the exclusive merchandise reseller, with the Castore x Silverstone Lifestyle and Fanwear ranges being available to buy. Castore will also be the Teamwear supplier for Silverstone.

Castore will fit-out the new Silverstone Megastore, where the ranges will be available, along with Castore’s mainline collections and other Silverstone merchandise. The company will continue to support Silverstone’s official merchandise hubs across the biggest race weekends too.

The sports firm’s Brand Director for Motorsport, Rich Brooks, said: “We’re always striving to form partnerships with like-minded brands. Silverstone is a perfect alignment with Castore as we’re two premium British brands that are passionate about Motorsport, innovation and providing exceptional experiences.”

Castore has notched up a number of partnership deals in recent periods. They include a rugby kit deal with Manu Samoa, a collaboration with Reiss, a deal for Ultimate Performance personal trainers to wear its kit, link-ups with Saracens and Newcastle United, and with McLaren F1.

It has also been opening new stores such as an upside Liverpool One space and a Glasgow standalone.
