COS sponsors Frieze Art Fair project in New York

Published
May 13, 2014

A few weeks before entering the American market, COS is moving its European marketing campaign across the Atlantic. The Swedish brand owned by H&M rarely makes large-scale publicity statements, but regularly takes part in artistic events. And so, the stylish, mid-range brand was present at the Frieze Art Fair in New York from May 8 - 11.

As part of this year’s exhibition, COS sponsored the restaging of part of Al’s Grand Hotel, a project realized by Allen Ruppersberg in 1971 to provide space for gatherings, parties, performances.

Having participated in the event, the Swedish brand has also announced the opening of its American e-shop, expected in June, as well as two physical store openings before the end of the year. COS will open its first store in the States in New York on Spring Street, and then the second in Los Angeles on West Beverly Drive.
