Bangladesh Denim Expo: 50 exhibitors expected in Dhaka

Published
Nov 4, 2015

The Radisson Blue hotel in Dhaka will on 11th and 12th November host the Bangladesh Denim Expo professional trade show. One year after its inaugural edition, which brought together more than 3,000 professionals, the latest event will feature some fifty exhibitors.

Bangladesh Denim Expo

For this, the third edition, the organizers announced an extension of the opening hours in both days, in order to respond to the growing demand for this event. Bangladesh Denim Expo will welcome exhibitors from ten countries: Japan, the USA, Germany, Spain, China, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, Belgium and of course Bangladesh.

The show will once again offer round-table conferences bringing together local and international specialists and dealing with major current topics. Among those covered this year, the role of green denim in brand image, the challenges of a safe, responsible supply chain, innovations in eco-sustainable denim and the impact of sustainable wet-treatment processes.

Bangladesh is the world's second largest clothing exporter behind China, and plans for its denim exports to reach $2 billion by 2021, out of the total of $50 billion expected to be generated by clothing.
