Alexander Wang releases Fall 2017 campaign on lighters and ashtrays

Shortly after staging his Spring 2018 show in Bushwick, Wang released the images for his Fall 2017 campaign. Wang also launched merchandise like lights and ashtrays using images from the campaign.

Alexander Wang’s newest campaign was shot by Juergen Teller and stars his “Wang Squad,” which includes Binx Walton, Lexi Boling, Natalie Westling, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner. The campaign shows the models wearing all black outfits while out on the town following the Fall 2017 runway show in February at the RKO Hamilton Theater.

As is typical of the designer, Wang found new ways to spread the racy images shot by Teller. In addition to the usual print ads, Wang’s Fall 2017 campaign comes with party-ready merchandise. The designer will sell limited-edition items like rolling papers, lighters, shot glasses, bottle openers and ash trays featuring images of the Wang Squad at his flagship stores. Wang will release one of the items each week starting September 15 until October 20.

The New York-based designer showed his Spring 2018 collection on September 9 in Bushwick. Wang preceded the show by sending the models throughout New York City on a flatbed truck, making a series of stops in Manhattan before heading to Brooklyn.
