Italian fashion group Aeffe, active in the luxury ready-to-wear, footwear and leather accessories sectors with labels that include Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini, Moschino and Pollini, closed H1 2022 with a revenue of €176.5 million, up 13.9% over the same period last year.

The group’s net profit was €2.9 million, down from the €13.3 million generated in 2021. Gross operating margin (EBITDA) was €20.9 million. The investments made in H1 2022, amounting to €4.3 million, related chiefly to operations on third-party assets and to software purchases.

“First-half results reflect the effective business model of the Aeffe Group and the appreciation for our collections, with significant growth in sales for all our brands in the different sales channels, and a strong progression especially in retail,” said Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of Aeffe.

“We are therefore satisfied with the group’s performance, as well as with the evolution of the new strategic direction of Moschino and the completion of the project related to the direct management of our distribution on the Chinese market, whose benefits are expected already in the coming months. We continue to carefully monitor the challenging market context, focusing our efforts on a path of constant and sustainable growth, both in the ready-to-wear and accessories segments, and on expanding our geographical presence in high-potential markets, including Greater China and USA,” added Ferretti.
