Last week the UGG brand announced the launch of a global "UGG: 40 Years" campaign celebrating four decades of creativity and success. The British model, Adwoa Aboah, and the designer, Heron Preston, are among the ambassadors chosen to front this major new campaign.

Best known for its signature sheepskin boots, UGG has branched out over the years with other footwear styles, as well as clothing and accessories for women, men and kids. The brand's wares embrace the California lifestyle that helped build its success.

Forty years after it was founded, UGG is launching a global campaign with two of its ambassadors, Adwoa Aboah and Heron Preston. However, the brand announces that other faces are signed up for this 40th-anniversary campaign, and will be unveiled over the coming months.

"From free-spirited surfers to provocative fashion designers and California creatives, UGG has embraced bold, unapologetic individuality for 40 years. What the UGG brand stands for is more important than ever, and this year we celebrate who we are now and look onward with excitement to the next 40 years," said Andrea O'Donnell, President of Fashion Lifestyle.

UGG enlisted the artist and photographer, Erik Madigan Heck, to shoot a series of colorful shots for the campaign, reimagining legendary California landscapes such as Big Sur and the Redwood Forest.

For the occasion, UGG is launching a limited-edition 40:40:40 collection reissuing its most iconic styles in the brand's original "Sand" colorway, with styles for men, women and kids. The collection is out in UGG stores worldwide, from authorized stockists and online.
