PARIS, Oct 2, 2011 - Actresses and models including Liv Tyler, Juliette Binoche and Naomi Campbell packed the front row at Givenchy's late night ready-to-wear fashion show in Paris on Sunday.

US rapper Kanye West -- who Saturday launched his own fashion line in Paris -- the French rapper Joey Starr and and the singer Ciara also turned out to see a spring-summer look that travelled from pink to black, via khaki and leopard.

Russian top model Natalia Vodianova opened the show in the courtyard of a Paris high school, her hair loose in a head-to-toe look of the palest pink, from buttoned-up blouse to dinner jacket and legging-pants zipped open on the calf.

Givenchy's Italian style director Riccardo Tisci sent out dresses in the same tint that played on layers of sheer and opaque fabrics.

Dinner jackets were reworked as redingote coats, with silk or crocodile lining and chunky silver pendants that suggested a shark's tooth, worn over mini-shorts and plain heeled sandals.

With a teardrop painted at the corner of one eye, models filed past in black dresses with wide curved flounces on the chest, and cut in a circle at the hem to reveal a sheer petticoat beneath.

Three outfits in silver sequins were followed by neoprene, the fabric used for diving suits, in light khaki, sometimes with leopard print.

And three skirts were fastened to a shoulder or around the neck with a metal chain like a handbag's.

Finally there was silk, and shimmery suede jackets like the one worn by Brazilian top model Gisele Bundchen at the close of the show.
