Catwalk Innovation: The Tracksuit Takeover - Spring/Summer 2017 (Geraldine Wharry)

Published
Nov 9, 2016

Koché SS17

The tracksuit has cemented itself firmly in Spring Summer 2017 collections. This classic style continues to evolve with interpretations celebrating vintage 70's and 80's sports touching on BMX, racing suits and protective workwear, with leaders such as Freja Dalsjo, V Files and Koche.

Vfiles SS17, Montreal Metro by Christopher Forsyth

What is particularly interesting is how Freja Dalsjo, V Files and Koche silhouettes echo the colour blocks and structure seen in architectural photography focusing on public spaces, underground stations and swimming pools.
