WSN Développement to launch new pre-collection trade show in June

Now that the fashion industry's seasonality is undergoing a profound transformation, French show organiser WSN Développement has responded by launching a new event in Paris. 'Nom de code June' (Code name: June) will add to the organiser's portfolio, which already includes Next and Première Classe. The objective is to respond to the need for fashion labels to work in synch with the presentation of pre-collections, focusing chiefly on the summer season. Until now, WSN Développement's Parisian shows were in fact scheduled after the summer, in September and October.

WSN Développement expects about 150 brands, between ready-to-wear apparel and accessories, to exhibit at the 'Nom de code June' show planned for 23rd-25th June 2018. The venue will be a 2,000 m2 marquee in place de la Concorde, where the organiser currently holds its second-session ready-to-wear show, Paris sur Mode, in March and October.

As a further bonus, the early summer date is aligned with that of the Men's Fashion Week. The timing is therefore ideal to attract international and French buyers alike, kicking off the show season with a flourish.
