On Friday 30 March, OVS Kids will unveil the first two branches in Amersfoort and Hilversum, followed by a third shop in Hellevoetsluis on Saturday. The stores will be situated in former Witteveen Mode shops, a womenwear formula operated by Vidrea Retail.

The OVS Kids collection offers clothing for children aged 8 and younger and describes itself as 'stylish yet wearable and comfortable'. The range consists of clothing, footwear and accessories, which are all sustainably produced. The store concept is characterized as contemporary and minimalistic, with a sleek design and the use of sustainable materials.

Prior to the brick-and-mortar debut of OVS Kids in the Netherlands the brand was available to Dutch customers via German e-tailer Zalando.

Earlier this month Vidrea Retail announced that it had acquired the German branches of fashion retailer Charles Vögele from Sempione Fashion AG for an undisclosed amount. As a result of the takeover, Vidrea Retail will further expand its concept Miller & Monroe in Germany. At the time of the acquisition, Vögele operated 200 branches in Germany and employed 1,800 people.

In Italy, OVS is the leading clothing brand with over 1000 stores, with a dominant market share in women's, men's and children's clothing and accessories. Worldwide, the label has 400 stores in more than 30 countries.
