Japanese brand Uniqlo presents "Doraemon UT," a new T-shirt collection for men and kids inspired by the world of Takashi Murakami. This fun-filled line is inspired by the contemporary artist's signature motifs, as well as the Japanese manga "Doraemon," following the adventures of a robotic cat from the future.

Spring gets a fun and artistic slant at Uniqlo, which is adding to its "UT" T-shirt line with a collection themed on the work of the artist Takashi Murakami. Comprising 14 pieces for men and kids, plus a Doraemon plush toy, this new capsule also celebrates the world of manga.

The collection has two parts: a first part celebrating the artwork "Anna koto iina dekitara iina," seen at the "DORAEMON TOKYO 2017" exhibition, and a second part themed on characters from the manga "Doraemon and Nobita." The highly colorful creations also feature Takashi Murakami's signature flowers.

The collection goes on sale first on April 26 in Uniqlo's New York 5th Avenue shop, which plans a meet and greet with Murakami on that day, then rolls out in May in Uniqlo stores and online at www.uniqlo.com. Men's T-shirts (XS-XL) are priced $14.90, kids' T-shirts (100-160 cm) are priced $9.90, and the plush toy is priced $29.90.
