It's a longstanding fashion partnership, which is now expanding. For the eighth season, Inès de la Fressange has designed a collection with fast-fashion retailer Uniqlo for autumn/winter 2017-18. But the new drop, slated to bow August 31, will include something new: its first menswear pieces.

Since the beginning of their partnership, Uniqlo and Inès de la Fressange have co-designed a women's collection only. The new collection, conceived by the former-model and the Japanese retailer's creative director Naoki Takizawa, has expanded and is expected to boast 83 pieces in total, of which half are men's.

Remaining true to the style of a classic, simple Parisian wardrobe, the collection also founds itself in Danish "hygge" this season, giving special care to the warmth and well-being conveyed by the collection.

Inès de la Fressage does well to balance her schedule, considering the launch of the Uniqlo collaboration coincides with the release of her next book, slated for October. Co-written with Sophie Gachet, the new opus will also address men, under the title 'Les Parisiens', and is published by Flammarion.
