Under Armour debuts Aston Villa football club kits

English Championship League football club Aston Villa unveiled on Friday its 2016/17 season kits by Under Armour.

 
The team uniforms have several color options and feature the football club’s emblem, the Under Armour logo, a back neck label of the club’s core values, which are passion, pride and purpose, and sponsorship from Intuit. The new kits are constructed with lightweight fabrics with built-in four-way stretch and HeatGear material that features a Signature Moisture System to keep players dry.
 
The home jersey features a traditional claret body and a contrasting sky blue collar and sleeves, and the away jersey has a white body, claret stripe and a sky blue chest panel. The goalkeeper has a forest green shirt option and a yellow shirt option, and both jerseys feature black bands on both arms.

To promote the new team kits, Aston Villa released a campaign video featuring longtime Villan Jonathan Fear and Ladies player Bethan Merrick.
 
In addition to Aston Villa, Under Armour signed football sponsorships with Southampton and FC St. Pauli for the 2016/17 season. The sports apparel company also has sponsorships with football clubs Tottenham Hotspur, AZ Alkmaar, São Paulo, Colo-Colo- Toluca, Cruz Azul, Queen’s Park, Baltimore Bohemians, New York Cosmos, Omiya Ardija, and Loyola Meralco Sparks.
