The RealReal opens men's shop in Soho flagship

Published
Mar 9, 2018

The RealReal has launched its first physical men's shop in its Soho flagship. The store will offer sneakers, streetwear and men's watches. It will be staffed by menswear experts and also offer consignment services.

The RealReal has seen strong growth in its men's category recently - The RealReal

The RealReal men's shop will carry luxury items from Gucci Tom Ford, Supreme, Yeezy, Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Maison Margiela among others. The focus will be on luxury streetwear and brands that successfully blend those genres.

Special emphasis will be placed on sneakers and streetwear which are the two fastest growing categories for men. The RealReal shows 130% year-over-year growth from 2017 in those two categories alone.

In addition to a men's assortment, the full men's experience will include style workshops and curated storytelling. Experts will be on site in store to help offer both style advice and facilitate the consignment process.

The RealReal Chief Merchant Rati Levesque said, "Our men's category has grown significantly over the last few years," pointing out that men are using The RealReal to find one of a kind pieces as well as "making money back on items they no longer want."

The men's shop is located within The RealReal's flagship store which is situated at 80 Wooster Street in New York City.
