Texworld USA and Apparel Sourcing USA have announced the lineup for the 3-day Winter 2018 Seminar Series taking place in NYC next month, with a focus on sustainability, and spring/summer 2019 color and fabric trends.

Highlights of January's Seminar Series include panels on "how to start a fashion line" and "supply chain traceability and transparency." Panelists include management from Lenzing Fibers, Inc. and Eileen Fisher, Inc.

Texworld USA Textile Talks Series also features sessions on "how to design a detailed customer profile to increase sales" and "sustainability and transparency in apparel". Among the speakers are Megan Meiklejohn, Sustainable Materials and Transparency Manager at Eileen Fisher and Deberah Johnson, Executive Director of Brooklyn Fashion and Design Accelerator.

“Attendees can look forward to topics that will keep them on the cusp of what is happening in our ever evolving industry – our seminars and Textile Talks are perfect for anyone no matter their level in the business," said Jennifer Bacon, Show Director, Messe Frankfurt North America, in a release.

The event has added a new feature this year called Explore the Floor. The show will offer guided tours through the floor where guests can interact with exhibitors in a more informative environment. The goal of the tours is to offer attendees knowledge of different exhibitors and provide them with enough background information to be able to ask questions relating to their business in an open format.

Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event on the East Coast for apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and global sourcing professionals.

Texworld USA will take place January 22-24 at the Javits Center in New York City.
