Soccer star Antoine Griezmann designs special-edition boots with Puma

French national soccer team star Antoine Griezmann has added a new string to his bow, teaming up with Puma to design a custom special edition of the "Future 18.1" soccer boots. The boots, which have an eye-catching design and feline touches, retail for €250.

Not content with being an ambassador for several brands -- including sportswear labels, cosmetics brands and watchmakers -- Antoine Griezmann has now turned his hand to design, joining forces with Puma to create a special-edition soccer boot. The Atlético Madrid player has revisited one of the brand's iconic models, the "Future 18.1," in a style that reflects his character and style of play.

The "Grizi Future 18.1" -- taking one of the French striker's nicknames -- stands out with its custom camo motif on the upper and outsole, created from silhouettes of the player's home city of Mâcon. The shoe's heel features the player's various nicknames, from Grizou and Grizi to Toinou, Le Petit Diable and El Precipito.

The Euro 2016 top scorer's "hunter instinct" is represented by details such as cat's eyes and reflective claw marks on the stripes and the Puma logo.

Antoine Griezmann has also worked on a ready-to-wear line with the brand, taking inspiration from the beautiful game. The collection includes jackets, sweatpants and soccer jerseys.

The Puma "Grizi Future 18.1" soccer boots are out now priced €250 per pair.
