Rebecca Minkoff launches swim line

Rebecca Minkoff is launching her first swim collection which will include fifteen silhouettes with tops, bottoms and one-pieces. The pieces come in solids and prints that are reversible and can be mixed and matched.

Designer and co-founder Rebecca Minkoff said in a release that "Swim is a category I have been wanting to introduce for some time."

Minkoff explained the goal of the collection was to offer swimwear that "evokes a free-spirited style, while remaining true to [the brand's] standards."

The swim collection was made exclusively in Los Angeles using Italian fabrics. The color palette ranges from rose to sandy red, while delicate florals with pops of reds and pinks add dimension. Minkoff said it took two years to develop the line that is meant to appeal to both the "coastal chic and city cool girl."

Rebecca Minkoff swim will officially launch March 1, 2018. It will be available at her stores in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Chicago, as well as online. Prices range from $70 to $145.
