QVC founder Joe Segel's hair care company ProfilePro LLC has launched a new hair care line called HairRx Advanced Hair Care targeting women over 30 who want a personalized hair care experience.

"While research shows that customization in the beauty sector is desired by all generations, women in their thirties have different shopping habits than Millennials," explains Ellen Langas, ProfilePro Co-CEO. To that end, HairRx offers customers the option to purchase single products crafted from an inventory of 165 formulas, as well as curated sets in packaged display boxes.

The customer experience directs women to HairRx's website to take a brief survey on their hair care goals and preferences. Volume, curl definition and scalp care are discussed as well as preferred fragrance and amount of lather.

Segel notes women in their 30s and beyond also "have different hair care challenges and goals than their Millennial counterparts." HairRx has identified the hair needs of women age 30 and over as thickening, strengthening, volumizing, adding shine, curl definition and frizz reduction. Scents offered are coconut, citrus, lavender, vanilla and jasmine.

ProfilePro recently also launched a Millennial specific hair care line called Cloud 10 Hair Care. It offers an amplified customization experience where consumers can personalize every detail including custom labels for their unique formulas.

HairRx will launch on QVC later this year.
