Princess Diana's style to be focus of Kensington Palace exhibition

An exhibition marking 20 years since the death of Princess Di will examine Diana's evolving style.

"Diana: Her Fashion Story," hosted at Kensington Palace in London, will open in February 2017.

The exhibition will trace the evolution of the princess's style, from demure to confident, and will explore her relationship with her favorite designers.

Among items on display with be evening gowns from the 1980s and Catherine Walker suits from the 1990s. A blue tartan Emanuel suit the princess wore for an official visit to Venice in the 1980s will be displayed in public for the first time.

Also in 2017, a temporary White Garden will be created at the Palace, planted with flowers and foliage inspired by Princess Diana's life.
