Pooltradeshow, the breeding ground for art-inspired and independent fashion brands for 16 years, will feature apparel, accessories, lifestyle, apothecary, home goods and stationary brands such as YRN, Joyn, Wicked Heathens and Blue Planet. The May show will also feature SwimLessons, an educational forum for emerging designers and established brands that will present experienced leaders in the industry.

"We couldn't be more excited about offering the ‘Pool’ experience in New York to brands that have not been able to make it to Vegas yet, or to brands looking for a unique and affordable show like ours on the East Coast,” said Pooltradeshow Show Director Jason Peskin.

“In addition, retailers will have a fresh opportunity to shop what is happening now and next.” Pooltradeshow has been held in Las Vegas since it launched in 2001, and it continued to run in the city after its acquisition by Advanstar Communications in 2005. The tradeshow also added a September show in New York City at Javits Center.

Blue@Intermezzo will showcase premium denim brands at the entrance of Intermezzo Collections. The first-ever platform dedicated to premium denim brands will serve as a key component of Intermezzo Collections, which is headlining the New York Women’s market at Jacob Javits Center.

Peter Berta, Director Accessorie Circuit/Intermezzo Collections, said, "Retailers rely on Intermezzo Collections to circle back around after the larger shows and regional markets to sharpen their assortments, address of-the-moment trends and fill in their inventory to carry them through the rest of the season. Blue@Intermezzo is the perfect opportunity for denim brands to distribute their replenishment inventory as well as pick up new business."

UBM, which recently partnered with trend forecaster Fashion Snoops, has made numerous changes to its trade shows in this year alone. The company merged men’s trade shows Project and MRket for market in Las Vegas in February, and it launched FN Platform in New York City in the same month.

Pooltradeshow and Intermezzo Collections will be held at Jacob Javits Center alongside UBM shows Accessorie Circuit, Fame, Moda and Accessories the Show.
