NEW YORK, May 20 (Reuters) - Sports shoe and clothing maker Nike Inc (NKE.N) said on Thursday 20 May it promoted several executives.
Nike, based in Beaverton, Oregon, promoted Joaquin Hidalgo to be vice president of emerging markets. He was most recently Nike's vice president of global brand marketing. Earlier in his career, he helped build the company's global soccer business, Nike said.
Hidalgo replaces Jayme Martin, who will become vice president of global running at Nike.
Nike also said that Davide Grasso was named vice president of global brand marketing. Previously, Grasso was vice president of Nike's global football segment. (Reporting by Phil Wahba, editing by Leslie Gevirtz)
