Moda, the English trade show, wants to keep up the good performance

Published

After beating its attendance record last August with 12,000 visitors (+22%), Moda has set the bar high for its February edition. The number of exhibitors at the trade show, which belongs to British group ITE, is stable but substantial. Under the same roof, Moda represents 1,400 brands varying from apparel for men or women, lingerie, swimwear, shoes and accessories.

This wide range of products is what makes the trade show so strong; however it could lead to instability between sectors. For this edition, organisers declared their wish to concentrate on the female sector. Although the sector already consists of 340 stands, they believe that investing on it further would attract more foreign brands to the show. Moda Woman has announced new arrivals from France – La Fée Maraboutée, Pause Café, Mado, among others – but also from Spain and Italy, in particular brands belonging to the Miroglio group.

The whole world of lingerie wear will be present (240 brands in total), including Triumph, Princesse Tam Tam, Chantal Thomass and Aubade. Almost 200 of the names appear on the men’s list, such as Baumler, Ben Sherman, Florentino, New Man and Calvin Klein. Shoes and accessories will gather 600 exhibitors in their separate sections, amongst which one can name Gola, Geox, Kickers and Le Bourget. Last August, Moda’s attendance
