Mango launches star-studded new campaign

The Spanish brand's Autumn/Winter 2017 campaign features an array of famous faces.

Mango has tapped German model Anna Ewers and Danish beauty Freja Beha to star alongside the veteran American supermodel Amber Valletta in its latest campaign. Captured by superstar photographer (and ex-boyfriend of Kate Moss) Mario Sorrenti, the sultry shoot was styled by Aleksandra Woroniecka, who was named fashion director of Vogue Paris earlier this year.

The womenswear collection has been designed to play on the masculine/feminine dichotomy, with oversized blazers and military-inspired pieces sitting alongside ethereal dresses and ladylike silhouettes. Brushed velvet, florals and checks feature heavily in an autumnal palette of mustard, brick red and olive green.

The menswear campaign stars the smoldering French actor and model Olivier Martinez, who was previously married to Halle Berry, alongside fresh-faced model Jegor Venned, who hails from Miðvágur, a town of just 1000 peope in the Faroe Islands. Volume is a major theme for the men's collection, with key pieces including extra-long overcoats and oversized parkas and knitwear. Classic pieces such as a double-breasted blazer and a shearling-lined aviator-style jacket also make an appearance.
