The Spanish label has named Sidney Toledano, the former CEO of Christian Dior, as chairman of its board. The luxury veteran will also be tasked with advising the label's creative chief, Jonathan Anderson.

Delphine Arnault and Jaime de Marichalar have also been reelected as members of the board.

Pierre-Yves Roussel, on the other hand, has quit the firm, according to a statement made by Loewe on Spain’s official trade registry bulletin, el Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil.

At the beginning of the year, Sidney Toledano replaced Pierre-Yves Roussel as the chairman of LVMH Fashion Group, which includes fashion brands Loewe, Céline, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs and Emilio Pucci.

Loewe creates ready-to-wear and accessories collections, as well as fragrances for men and women. Founded in 1846, the luxury brand is currently headquartered in Madrid, but is present in around 30 countries across the globe boasting 150 stores and subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Loewe has been owned by LVMH since 1996. Group revenues at the French luxury conglomerate reached 10.854 billion euros for the first quarter of 2018.
