Lancôme x Proenza Schouler to launch limited-edition make-up collection

Published
May 14, 2018

The duo behind Proenza Schouler, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, are the latest fashion designers to collaborate with Lancôme on a limited edition make-up collection slated to launch this fall.

The collection will incorporate Proenza Schouler's modernity and bold use of color. Details on individual products within the collection have not been released yet.

Commenting on the collaboration in a release, Françoise Lehmann, general manager of Lancôme International, said, "Proenza Schouler fashion is the manifesto of a strong, free femininity. The idea of 'empowerment' is at the heart of their values, just as it has always been at the heart of the Lancôme philosophy."

Proenza Schouler joins a line of other fashion designers who have created capsule collections with Lancôme in the past, including Alber Elbaz, Yiqing Yin, Alexandre Vauthier, Jacquemus, Anthony Vaccarello, the Sonia Rykiel brand, and Olympia Le-Tan.

Proenza Schouler's McCollough and Hernandez said, "Lancôme has always represented the epitome of luxury beauty products, so it is like a dream come true to be able to collaborate with such an iconic and historic brand."

Proenza Schouler has an existing beauty partnership with Lancôme's parent company, L’Oréal, through which it launched its first fragrance, Arizona, earlier this spring. The label previously launched a make-up collection with Estée Lauder Companies' MAC in 2014.

The Proenza Schouler Lancôme beauty collection will be available in July 2018 at Lancôme point of sales.
