Kylie Jenner goes for velvet with new lip kits

Kylie Jenner is once again preparing to send beauty fans across the globe into a frenzy this week, thanks to the launch of her latest lip product.

The reality-star-turned-makeup-queen took to social media over the weekend to tease the latest offering from her Kylie Cosmetics brand -- the velvet lip kit.

The new product sees Jenner not only dreaming up four new lip color hues, but also revamping her cult lip kit formula. Rather than sticking with the matte finish that made her initial offerings so famous, the teenager has softened things up for a buttery aesthetic. She described the new lip kits as "creamy, smooth, non-drying, pigmented liquid lipsticks."

A photo posted to the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account reveals the four velvet shades as a light raspberry called 'Rosie', a pink with coral undertones called 'Harmony', a dusty pink called 'Charm' and a strawberry shade called 'Dazzle'. The line, which will come packaged in a special velvet ribbon, will launch on March 16 at 3pm PST.

The news comes fresh off the back of the debut of the brand's 'Kylighters', a range of six highlighters that sold out almost instantly upon being launched on February 28. The new velvet lip kit is simply another string to Jenner's already impressive beauty bow, which includes a 'Kyshadow' and 'Kyliner' range, as well as her famous kip kits.
