The Adidas Gazelle sneaker line, relaunching June 28, is given a new look courtesy of digital artist Doug Abraham and a 1993 image of model Kate Moss.

Moss was pictured wearing a pair of red Adidas Gazelles in 1993 and digital collage artist Doug Abraham -- known as Instagram's bessnyc4 -- used the photograph as the basis for a morphing, glitching montage of his own.

"Gazelle's were the trainer we all wore in the '90s," Moss said in support of the campaign. "They have a timeless look that just doesn't date. I was and always have been an Adidas girl."

"With the relaunch of Gazelle, we looked to the original cultural references that defined the authenticity of the style," said Adidas Originals' VP of Global Design, Nic Galway, of the $80 to $85 sneaker.

"Kate Moss has always had a connection to the adidas Originals brand, and her affection for Gazelle during the '90s is a testament to the ways the silhouette has been adopted into style and pop culture."
