The fashion group could sign a deal this week to open five new shops, three in Oman and two in Dubai, Borsa & Finanza newspaper says on Saturday. Chief Executive Giovanni Burani tells the newspaper it will be a tough Christmas given financial market turmoil and the slowdown in consumer spending could last at least for the first half of next year. He adds that the group is not immune to current problems but "we are resisting."
