On Saturday, April 14, Masaba Gupta will bring her brand, House of Masaba, to Hong Kong for a pop up shop that will debut her latest collection in the region.

This April, Gupta will take her Summer Festive collection to the Conrad in Hong Kong and it will be her first time at the venue.

Gupta’s latest collection is inspired by the Hindu tradition of married women wearing bright Sindoor along the parting of their hair. Gupta has explained on her brand’s social media that this tradition is now seen as old-fashioned in certain circles but it is a personal choice to be celebrated. The tradition has been re-invented in her latest campaign with white and bright pink versions to match her designs.

Masaba Gupta has brought her brand to several countries so far this year. For example, on March 29, House of Masaba had a pop up shop in New Jersey, America, in collaboration with House of Chic and Style Paparazzi and was hosted in Westchester the day before that.

The brand has also just launched its “Tiger Lily” collection which features a custom print with tigers and lilies on and this will also be available at the pop-up shop in Hong Kong.
