Footpatrol takes its sneakers to the heart of Paris

Published
May 30, 2018

Shinzo, Starcow and Opium have got a new streetwear competitor in Paris. Following in the footsteps of the US' Supreme, Sweden's Sneakersnstuff and Italy's Urban Jungle, May sees the arrival of UK-based Footpatrol. The cult London sneaker store has set up at 45 rue du Temple, in a location previously occupied by Supra

The almost 50-square-metre space has been kitted out with a concrete finish, mirrors and strip lighting to highlight the different models on the shelves. In the centre of the store, an imposing Footpatrol logo has been made out of neon lights.

Led by John Brotherhood and James Horrocks, Footpatrol intends to employ the same strategy in Paris as it has in London. Having started out in Soho in 2002, the JD Sports-owned retailer moved to Berwick Street in 2010. The store is one of the principal locations to check out product and collaboration launches from brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Vans and Converse

The Parisian boutique benefits from the same partnerships as its London alter ego so will be able to offer its customers the most up-to-date collaborations and limited-edition products. Each week, the store will present the latest models from its partner brands. It will also offer labels such as RetaW, Be@rbrick and Jason Markk, as well as its own lines of accessories and apparel.
