Shoe and accessory label Cha has landed in Germany. The Dutch brand has decided to partner with German agencies to further distribute its collections in Europe.

Until 2014, Cha was already available on the German market. However, at the time, founder Alisha Staats did not feel that Cha’s partners represented the brand well.
As a result, Staats decided to focus on the Dutch market: “You can focus too much on international growth, but [I believe that] if you keep it small and focused, and build a solid foundation, you can take [international growth] steps when you're ready. And with the right partners, you are then able to achieve these steps as a brand,” she said, in a press release.

Via its new partnerships in Germany, the brand is now available at Krayer Fashion, Essen and Momenti, and Westerland Sylt. The brand currently stocks its Spring/Summer 2018 collection with the German retailers. During the upcoming trade show Premium Berlin (January 2018), Cha will launch the Autumn/Winter 2018/2019 collection.

In the Netherlands, Cha has about 90 points of sale including Taft shoes, Amsterdam; Francis Mode, Utrecht; Dungelmann, Rotterdam; Loft, Hilvarenbeek; Barok Fashion, Velp; Pure Fashion, Venlo; and Fier, Scheveningen. In addition to the Netherlands and Germany, Cha is also available in Belgium and Slovakia.

Cha launched in 2009. The brand is known for its ethnic style, using luxurious materials such as leather and suede. Cha collections feature shoes, bags and outerwear. Prices range from €59 for a matching hat and glove set to €289 for a parka. Cha shoes retail between €189 and €229. All Cha collections are produced in Spain.
