Clarks launches Nature IV collection in select global cities

Clarks on Thursday launched the fourth iteration of its Nature collection after five years.

Clarks Nature IV

Nature IV is a redefined and redesigned contemporary take on Clarks’ shoemaking expertise and technological vision. The collection retains the same principles as the first Nature collection that launched in 1982, such as optimal form and function with minimal component parts; combining new materials, construction and technologies; defining the most advanced footbed structure and science; and creating a foot-shaped fit around a hand-carved wooden last.

The first Nature collection was co-created by Neville Gillibrand and Derek Radford in 1982. Clarks launched the second Nature collection, Nature II, in 1996, featuring the Clarks Active Air underfoot cushioning technology, and Nature III in 2012. The third collection launched with two limited edition profiles to mark the Nature series’ 30th anniversary.

“As Clarks continues to innovate, Nature will evolve indefinitely,” said the brand. “The future of its form defined by the elements. Adapting to its surroundings. Continually reaching new levels of design performance.”

Clarks Nature IV debuted globally with a coordinated brand campaign in London, Tokyo, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dubai and Shanghai. The shoe will debut in the US on February 27, 2017 exclusively at Kith, Blends in California, and Ubiq in Pennsylvania.
