In addition to its own ready-to-wear collections, the Brigitte Bardot brand continues to extend its influence with diverse collaborations. The label launched in 2011 expanded the scale of the brand's operating rights in 2014, opening the possibility for new collaborations and licenses.

Thus, Benetton was able to sign an agreement with the Brigitte Bardot brand for a mini line of t-shirts. This isn't the first time though, as the latter has done the same in the past with Maje and La Redoute. This time, the brand with the license to the former film and pin-up star's name will be associated with the Italian label.

The collection of t-shirts features photographs of Brigitte Bardot in 1966 during the filming of "Io, l’amore", or "Two Weeks in September". Three different models will be available in Benetton stores as of 16 April.

But before then, the Brigitte Bardot signature will be seen at various footwear retailers. Indeed, a license for espadrilles, a model dear to St. Tropez natives, has been entrusted to Albena, a subsidiary of French Chauss Europ, as of spring/summer 2015.

A mini-collection of four affordable (25 to 29 euros) models that will be on sale this spring.
