Brendon Babenzien takes over Billionaire Boys Club’s Bee Line

Published
Nov 27, 2017

Brendon Babenzien, former Supreme Design Director and founder of Noah, has been named the Creative Director of Billionaire Boys Club’s Bee Line.

The new Bee Line collection by Brendon Babenzien

Babenzien picks up where previous Bee Line Creative Director Mark McNairy left off, with a new collection spreading a message of love and togetherness and standing up to corporations. The collection touches on workwear elements, sportswear and American classic collegiate style, which doesn’t stray far from Babenzien’s designs for Noah.

A bee character is seen on a blue t-shirt and green hoody in the new Bee Line collection, and each piece is complemented by blue and green cargo pants with front pockets. Horizontal striped t-shirts, sweatpants, and hoodies hearken to classic prep style and past streetwear, while a mixed media, patterned shirt taps into modern design. Babenzien also drew inspiration from the Tom Tom Club song “Genius of Love” for a motif on a black t-shirt and a sheepskin flight suit.

Babenzien parted ways with Supreme in 2015 to focus on his Noah label. Babenzien launched the brand in 2002 and put it on hiatus to focus solely on Supreme. Since its reintroduction, Noah currently operates a flagship store in New York City, a two-floor clubhouse in Tokyo and a shop-in-shop at Dover Street Market in London.

The Babenzien-designed Bee Line collection is available now online and at the Billionaire Boys Club flagship stores in New York City, London and Tokyo.
