Following self-named Beirut brand Basil Soda’s 2006 “Armure-Parure” collection, the brand plans on presenting four small ready-to-wear collections each year, comprised of 25 looks each and essentially evening wear.

This milestone for Basil Soda, created in 2000, comes after working for Elie Saab’s couture and RTW for four and a half years previously.
The collection concept is revealed in a statement on Thursday: - “dynamic and somewhat elusive, his muse is the center of attraction; she feels certain self-assurance, allowing her to live without a man, even if she desperately needs to seduce men.”

Basil Soda himself is inspired by his love of architecture, reinforced by his background in this learning, and monochrome colour palettes.
Beirut-born brand, worn in the past by the likes of Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Carpenter and model Natalie Suliman, also opened its contemporary couture fashion house just a few months ago; a seemingly sand-coloured stone block in which the label’s name is engraved, placed in the heart of Beirut.
